It’s a beautiful scenery in the night. The water underneath gives it a different feel

This is a very beautiful resort built on water. It's called the Takoradi Nzulezu. It's a serene place built with nice layouts. They have three separate bars and accommodations. You can also do a boat cruise. I enjoyed the catfish served with fries and some good background music. I had a great time.

Service 10/10. The place was very neat. Serene environment. Food was great. That’s the nzulenzu but make it Takoradi version.

If you’re ever in Takoradi and looking for a peaceful getaway with a touch of class, Aqua Makarios Resort is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine smiles and a calming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The resort strikes a beautiful balance between nature and modern comfort. The rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished – you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the details. Whether you’re enjoying the cool breeze from your balcony or unwinding in the cozy bed, everything just feels right. One of the highlights for me was the how it’s built on water like the Nzulezu style. It’s the perfect spot to relax, read a book, or just let your thoughts drift while enjoying the view. And if you’re a food lover, the kitchen doesn’t disappoint – fresh, well-prepared meals with that authentic Ghanaian touch and great service to match. What really stands out at Aqua Makarios is the peace and privacy it offers. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s a space to recharge. Whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic escape, a family on vacation, or someone who just wants to slow down and breathe, this resort delivers. Highly recommend. Will definitely return.

I went there today, with my wife and another couple and their toddler. The environment was calming and soothing. The waiter (Patience) was courteous. The food was ready in about 30 minutes. The fried rice was bland, but the chicken and pork were well seasoned and tasty. The food and drinks were affordable. It took us about 20 -30 minutes to drive from the STC yard in Takoradi, probably due to traffic jam caused by road construction. The return trip was shorter. We are planning to return there for a weekend... We had a lovely experience.
